This is an amazing option for getting married in San Diego! The courthouse is right on the water and there is the most beutiful waterfront park to get photos at before or after your ceremony.

-Take the ferry over to Coronado Island and have a picnic! The ferry is within walking distance of the courthouse and is only $20 for a roundtrip ticket. Once you get over to Coronado lay out a blanket with some snacks and get cozy with your new husband/wife.


-Head over to Little Italy! Another great location within walking distance of the courthouse. There a ton of amazing restaurants to celebrate being newlyweds! Once your finished with dinner walk over to "Wine House" and get some Sangria to cheers to a lifetime together!

What do you need to know before heading to the courthouse to get married?


  • You will be required to present valid government issued photo ID (Drivers License, Passport, Military ID)
  • Both parties must be present 
  • No guests (including children) permitted 
  • Public license ceremonies may have 1 witness or we may provide one for you for an additional $18 
  • Face masks are required
  • The Fee for a civil ceremony is $88
